The rates for use will be $20 per hour. Tracking Usage- WatchDog software will be used to track ImageStream usage. A login box will pop up after you log in to Windows. Please use the same username and password you use for the other instruments in our core. Contact us at 636-3575 if your login has not been added to the WatchDog software. Startup/Shutdown- To prevent users from being charged for startup and shutdown the RFCC will do the following: Startup- Core staff will startup and run calibrations on weekdays when someone is signed up. Please make sure you schedule your time in advance and let us know if you will not be using your time for the day. Note: If you do the startup procedure yourself (e.g. on the weekend or late at night) please indicate on the sign-in sheet and you will not be charged for that time. Shutdown- LOG OUT of WatchDog before you begin the Sterilization procedure. We will turn the instrument off after the script has run or the next morning. To log out of WatchDog, double-click on the dog icon in the lower right corner of the taskbar. Click on ?End Session?. Read the message and click ?OK?. Cleaning/User Maintenance- As with the other core instruments, cleaning and checking for proper fluid levels by users is MANDATORY to maintain instrument quality. After your last sample please clean the instrument by doing the following: 1. ?Flush, Lock and Load? a tube with 100ul of 10% bleach on the sample port and run for 2 minutes. 2. ?Flush, Lock and Load? a tube with 100ul of water on the sample port and run for 2 minutes. There is a sign-in sheet for the ImageStream as a maintenance reminder. The same policies for sign-in on our flow cytometers apply to the ImageStream. You will be charged $10 for failure to sign-in and $2.00 for each checkbox. ImageStream Workstation- The computer workstation used for analysis of ImageStream data is now on our booking system.
